The Ocean Winds and Bord na Móna joint-venture team, actively dedicated to offshore wind opportunity in Ireland, attended the 10th of March the Wind Industry Energy Awards, the gala organized by Wind Energy Ireland in Dublin.
Throughout the event, there were ten awards presented, of which Ocean Winds sponsored the Wind Energy in the Community Award, whose winner was FuturEnergy Ireland and Bord na Móna sponsored the Exemplary Health & Safety, won by H&MV Engineering. These awards were an opportunity to showcase the talent within the Irish wind industry and recognize the people and companies who are working to shape the future of renewable energy in Ireland.
Ocean Winds and Bord na Móna, are proud to be part of the energy transition journey and work to enable Ireland to achieve its 2050 climate targets and develop the competitive offshore wind sector in the country, starting with the two offshore wind proposed projects: Réalt na Mara, and Celtic Horizon, for which we are currently conducting our second rounds of public consultation events.
