Ocean Winds was delighted to attend the 2022 Renewables in Ireland Conference in Cork. The event was a perfect opportunity to showcase Ocean Winds’ Realt na Mara and Celtic Horizon Offshore Wind projects located off the coasts of Dublin/Wicklow and Wexford/Waterford respectively.
The Ocean Winds team were delighted to engage with stakeholders from across Ireland’s renewable energy industry and to see how best we can work together to provide the speediest and most effective delivery of mutually-supporting renewable energy, and to ensure Ireland has a thriving green economy with clean, secure and affordable energy.
It is envisaged that the combined energy generation of Ocean Winds’ Realt na Mara and Celtic Horizon Offshore Wind projects will generate up to 2.3 Gigawatts (GW) of clean renewable electricity, enough to power over 2 million Irish homes per annum.
